  5. I would like to donate books to the library.  What kind of books should I donate?

1.      How many books may students take out?

·        Kindergarten students may not take books home.

·        Students in grades 1-3 may each check out one book.

·        Students in grades 4-6 may each check out two.

2.      May parents take out books?

·        Parents with students who attend CSR may see the librarian about checking out books.  Parents may check out up to five books.

3.      What is my child learning in library?

·        Please view the Library Lesson link to the left and feel free to visit anytime to see weekly lesson plans.

4.      My child has lost his/her book.  What should I do?

·        You and your child agreed to replace lost materials when you signed the library permission slip in September.  Please help your children learn responsibility by paying for the lost materials.

·        Any book, which is paid for and later found (within a reasonable amount of time), may be returned for a full refund as long as the book is still in good condition.

·        The library may not accept checks but will accept replacements if you would rather purchase a new copy of the book yourself.

5.      What kind of books should I donate to the library?

·        Any new or gently used hardcover books.

·        Paperback books do not last long when circulating to children. However, we would be happy to accept any you donate to give to our students who may not have books at home.
