WebQuest: Learning About Plants
Introduction
You are a
detective and you need to learn more about plants – you need to identify the
parts and functions of plants, and how they grow. Get out your magnifying glass, and
dig up answers to the following questions.

Task
In this lesson you will
learn more about plants. By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:

some web pages to find answers about how plants grow.

Use
some print resources to find answers about how plants grow.
·
Use
note cards to cite your sources.
·
Explain
how plants grow.
Process
1.
Get a note card to write
down the subtopic and source that you use (web page or print resource). Include
your initials on the note card.
2. Click on each of the links in the list of resources to
find the answer to each question about plants.
3. Use at least one print resource (like an encyclopedia
from the school library).
4.
Work with your team
members to prepare a poster that shows and explains what you’ve learned about
how plants grow.
